Season 18 of Overwatch 2 is bringing a fresh face to the roster—Wuyang, a support hero with a unique water-themed kit. Players can try him out during the free trial from August 14–18, with his official release on August 26.
Wuyang’s playstyle mixes healing, shields, and mobility in one package. He can heal teammates from a distance, provide water shields for protection, and even pull off some crowd control. His staff-based abilities give him flexibility—kind of a middle ground between the support heroes.
On the lore side, Wuyang’s story adds some depth to the lineup. He’s a character dealing with family expectations and personal setbacks, giving him a bit more personality than just “another hero with cool abilities.”
