The past week was pretty eventful and I hope you had fun as much as I did. But it’s Monday and it’s time for a list of new games coming out this week. With the rise of AI in the gaming world, I’ve feared that this is it, we peaked and there won’t be any good games in the future. So far I’ve been wrong and we as gamers are eating GOOOOOD. This year has been nothing short of great and I’m happy to report that streak continues. So without further ado, here are games to check out this week:
ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN
RIADM is a game developed and published by GRASSHOPPER MANUFACTURE INC. I remember seeing the trailer in one of the Playstation’s states of play and I ended up liking the direction they went with. The story is about Romeo Stargazer and how his life took an unbelievable turn for the worse. The game features some unbelievable gameplay including both gun and swordplay. It looks like a game has a lot of cool action and I’m sorta invested to see how the story ends.

Cadence
Cadence is a minimalist puzzle game developed and published by Made With Monster Love. This is sort of a game that you play when you want to relax for an hour but end up spending way more time on it than you intended. I can’t get enough of them. In case this sounds like your type of game, there’s a free demo on Steam. Check it out(and no, this isn’t a paid promo fyi).

Log Riders
Log Riders is a 2 player co-op platformer developed and published by Bluespy Studios. It seems like a great game to play with your friend. Two of you can become lumberjacks and ride logs through various obstacles. There’s even some sort of leaderboard, so you can expect long and difficult tracks. In case you’re thinking about getting it, there’s a free demo available. Make sure to check it out.

High on Life 2
High on Life 2 is a singleplayer FPS developed and published by Squanch Games, Inc. I’ll be completely transparent with you, I had no clue that this one was coming out. I played the first part all the way through and absolutely loved it, the gameplay was so much fun. How did I manage to miss the announcement and then everything about it in the past 8 months is absolutely mind-boggling. What are the chances for that? Like for real? You should have seen my face when I saw it on the list for this week. My mind was blown. Anyways, you can expect a full playthrough from me.

Conclusion
This week seems to be filled with relaxing, funny, weird games that can be enjoyed the whole weekend. I hope one of these managed to grab your attention. If not, there’s always next week. What are your thoughts about these games? Do you think any of them is worth checking out? And are there some games that you think that should have ended here? Let me know down in the comments and don’t forget to subscribe.
