Home Design Games That Let You Create Your Dream House Virtually

Interior design games are super satisfying to me because they give you a chance to decorate a space of your own (in the style that you like) without worrying about the budget or any of that real world stuff. These are fun and relaxing games that you can play without stressing out, and just have a really chill time.  Surprisingly so, there aren’t that many great ones out there. They often get relegated to mobile platforms (where you have to deal with ads and energy systems), and you’re left with scraps. But thankfully, I managed to find a few that

Missing The Sims? These 8 Games Scratch That Same Itch

Games like The Sims are… well, nonexistent if you want to be strict about what makes a game “Sims-y”. It’s one of a kind, or at the very least the most popular and widely played example. Few have tried to usurp that throne.  But if you zero in on what you like about Sims specifically, you might have more luck finding something similar. And that’s what I’m here to do — give you options that are not quite the same, but will scratch specific itches and might even become your new favorite game to play.  And hey, if you don’t

subnautica game review

Subnautica Review 2026 – Is This Survival Classic Still Worth Playing?

I didn’t expect much when I first launched Subnautica. Just another survival game, right? Turns out, I was wrong.  What I got instead was one of the most unique and oddly immersive survival experiences I’ve ever played. There’s no combat-heavy intro, no flashy tutorial, it’s just you, a busted lifepod, and a massive alien ocean waiting to be explored. It’s slow, atmospheric, and surprisingly tense, especially when you realize you’re not exactly alone down there.  After multiple replays since release, I feel qualified enough to talk about it (and I rave about it in many articles, like here — did

13 Best Tower Defense Games to Play in 2026

Tower defense games have a bit of everything that I like — some strategy, some base building (sometimes) and lots of challenges. I first fell in love with this genre while, ironically, playing other games that had tower defense elements. For example, SpellForce (which I talk a lot about here).  And since then, I’ve sought this out repeatedly through other games. And in case you’re interested as well, I’ve rounded up the best of the best tower defense games so you can enjoy them too (in no particular order). Save your time searching, and dive straight into one of these!

star wars jedi survivor review

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Review: Is It a Good Intro to Soulslikes?

When it comes to the Star Wars franchise, I wouldn’t call myself a superfan but also I’m not a hater of it. I liked Fallen Order well enough, even if it had a few rough edges. Jedi: Survivor picks up right where that left off, building on the combat, expanding the world, and refining the formula.  And there’s a word around the block that if you want to get into soulslike games, that Jedi series is the place to start. And since I’ve played the first part eons ago, I thought it would be a good idea to play the

best beginner friendly soulslike

New to Soulslikes? Start with These 7 Games

Soulslike games for beginners is a bit of an oxymoron because, let’s face it — they’re all so hard. Playing soulslike games can be a real challenge and it can get really frustrating when you are stuck at a certain boss for hours and even days sometimes, just because they seem impossible to beat.  I distinctly remember being stuck on Tiger Vanguard in Black Myth Wukong for hours, only to leave it for the next day where I managed to beat it with such an ease that I thought I was a God gamer. Unfortunately, I came to realize that

Casual PC Games You Can Play for Free

Free PC games are rare these days — even more so casual free PC games. It seems like most of them involve a lot of fighting and stress. You might find a hidden gem, but odds are you’ll hit a wall of gacha grindfests (nothing wrong with gacha though, I love them, as you’ll see here), half-baked mobile ports, or games that call themselves “free” and then hit you with a paywall after 15 minutes. If you’re tired of the same stale lists filled with the usual suspects or games that are not really all that free or casual, I’m

games like it takes two

Are you a fan of It Takes Two? Try these games

Looking for games like It Takes Two? I get it — it was truly a memorable experience. My husband and I loved playing it, even when I kept getting stuck in random places, when I couldn’t jump the distance, when I didn’t understand what to do, when he had to take the joystick and just do it himself…Anyway, I’m sure it was enjoyable for him too.  It’s perfect for people who want to laugh and work together. All the little mini games and the different areas make it feel like a ton of games rolled into one. And it’s super
