Tiny Eden is a cozy gardening simulator developed by Bajka Games and it was released on Steam on September 7th, 2026. And if you know me, you already know I’m a sucker for cozy games.
I’ve played Tiny Eden on my Youtube stream for 5 hours and if I didn’t have to do other stuff, I probably would have played for even more. And while I was away from it, all I could think about was what to plant next and how to make things more efficient. So naturally, I’ve found some time to play late at night and a couple more times after that. I finally feel ready to talk about it and here’s everything I have to say.

Tiny Eden is an indie game about farming various vegetables inside your apartment — well technically it belongs to a friend but they’re away in a jungle and they said it’s ok. It starts with a balcony cleanup which includes removing trash, vacuuming dirt and picking up knocked down pots. There were also a few abandoned plants that needed watering. The basic gameplay goes something like this:
Build a pot > put a right mixture of soil > plant a seed > water it > nurture > harvest > use it to earn money.
But there’s so much more to the game. Each plant needs a different pot and the percentage of what soil you need to mix also differs for every seed. Once you plant them, they need a specific amount of water to grow properly but also there are specific conditions like a certain amount of sunlight or an exact temperature that they thrive in. Luckily the game informs you about every change of the plant and you don’t need to think about it, you just solve the problems.
A few things about me, I dream daily about just getting a big plot of land, building a ranch house and stables, getting horses and a bunch of other farm animals. I would love to have a vast arrangement of vegetables to grow. On top of all that, I’ll need solar power and my own source of water. But besides it being a very expensive dream and extreme responsibility, I also lack knack for taking care of the plants properly. The point is if I had the system from Tiny Eden that tells me exactly what and when I need something, then this dream wouldn’t be so impossible.
Back to the game — once you harvest the vegetables, you can store them in the fridge or use them to complete quests/orders that will give you some cash and experience. You’ll also be able to open a shop on the first floor of the building and sell the products there for more profit. Despite my best efforts, I was constantly broke and struggling. So much that I had to take a loan from a bank, which you have to pay back with an interest over the months.
I’ve played the game for days now and I’ve barely scratched the surface. I’ve found out that you’ll also have to cut out dried out parts of the plants, remove weeds, pollinate the flowers and enrich the soil on top of everything that I’ve mentioned. There are specific tools available for each action that you can buy in the shop.
There’s also an option to expand an apartment and you can decorate it as you like. The options aren’t limitless but it’s good enough to make it up to your taste. You can unlock more rooms, create your own lab, and put up all sorts of decorations like pictures, lamps, carpets, furniture and so much more.
Conclusion
I’ve really enjoyed playing Tiny Eden and if you’re someone who’s looking for a cozy apartment farming game, I highly recommend trying it. When I first streamed it, my goal was to make an ultimate luxury apartment but I realised 2 things. It’s going to take way more than a few measly hours that I initially thought it would. And I’m not giving up on that just yet. I’ll try to gather everything I need and we can do it together on Youtube in the future. Secondly, it showed me how much I’m not ready to be a farmer.
Stay tuned for more Tiny Eden content!
